George – Wonderful stuff! I really can’t say enough. Rarely do I see images that have emotional content like this. They’re extraordinary. Thanks and best wishes for the holidays. Ed

Hi Mike! Thanks for the comment.

Miss you. Love to catch up on your world one of these days. Might be in Chi-town in late March…. maybe a possibility.

Hope you are well,
George

Great shots…interesting use of WB first three.
All best,

Thanks, Gary.

Yes, the first two (very warm ones) were indeed cranked pretty hard in Temperature to bring out the yellow in what was essentially a gray morning. But the surprising thing is that #3 (the two on bamboo rafts) hardly has any adjustment at all. Strangely, that is almost exactly what the camera “saw” with AWB…. and indeed that’s what I remember seeing myself standing there long before sunrise…. a very weird, purple-colored light. I only adjusted the Temperature from ~4850 to ~4650 on that one…. a very modest tweak to bring out bit more blue.

Thanks, Bobbie!

No current plans for a Denver workshop, but they will always be posted here on the blog, should a new one get organized.
