In nearly every class I teach, and in every workshop, I hear from many photographers that they simply don’t know where to start, when approaching image correction.

Tone and color correction is not a mystery, but mastering it does take time and practice. The goal of this new series is to help you become fluent in correcting your own pictures—as quickly as possible. We accomplish that by guiding you toward a complete understanding of the tools, in both Lightroom 4 and 5. (With a healthy dose of Photoshop thrown in for good measure, in the portrait tutorials.)

The new series is 21 videos, with over 5 hours of content. Flash and HTML5 versions are ready now, as well as online streaming for the iPad and download files. DVD’s for Amazon, will be available shortly.

Thank you Mr George for another deep and outstanding set of videos. Believe me, I did not complete the first round of the videos, I just completed the first 3 videos. Definitely, They are very deep and expanded with exact examples to see, recognize and believe. As he said and I am convinced, depend on your two eyes to see and do the necessary. This is very important as far as post production is concerned . And of course, these videos are also created with the same idea in mind.

Hi George – Thank you for producing a great series of Lightoom training videos. I have watched the LR4 Library and Develop series and love being ale to go back and review video content – great Lightroom learning tool!

I plan to migrate to LR5 once it is released by Adobe and your new video series caught my attention. After reviewing the chapter lineup I came up with a few questions.

1. Is there any overleap between new videos and old LR4 Library and Develop videos?

2. Does the new video series cover all new LR5 Library and Develop features and changes; and any plans to update LR5 content once Adobe releases final version of LR5?

3. Do you plan to produce a new series of LR5 videos?

4. Is there an iPad version for new videos?

Thanks again.

Hi John, Glad you’re getting a lot out of the videos!

Couple of answers for you:

1) Very little. The Image Correction Master Class is about developing skills in image correction. The Library and Develop videos do contain a lot of “how”…. but they are geared mostly as a guide, for understanding each feature. From top to bottom.

2) No… the Image Correction Master Class does not cover every new feature in LR5. Just the ones that I felt were most important in relation to becoming better at image correction.

3) Yes, I plan to update both the Library and Develop series with all new LR5 videos this summer.

4) Yes, as with all my videos, you can stream custom iPad-formatted videos by trying either the Flash or HTML5 links in your confirmation e-mail, or you can request downloads with chapter markers that will work on just about any mobile device.

I hope that helps!
