As someone moving over from Aperture and with no knowledge of LR, I am amazed at the depth of knowledge these videos have helped me acquire. The Library Module was, of course, the place to start and fundamental to LR. I’m still woking on the Develop videos, but wanted to say that George’s explanation of the difference between H/S and B/W adjustments, using the gradient bar as example, is brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. I never would have known about the difference with contrast that the pairs exhibit.
This has saved me a lot of money I would have spent on lynda or such. Thanks, George.

Thanks, Don! Very good to hear you’re getting a lot out of the videos. Don’t hesitate to contact me if you have questions or problems.

Best,
George

In preparation for 2 flights of 18+ hours I downloaded the iPad version (with the chapter marks!). No more TL;DR as I was trapped in a plane with more than enough time. I thought I knew my way around the Develop module so I was completely awed at the amount of new information that George crams in to this extremely well produced tutorials. GJ has a gift for clear and un-confusing presentation. So much so I that I determined to purchase the Library tutorial upon my return. My theory is that even though I think I understand everything about the Library module already I bet I don’t and GJ will explain why. Great stuff, value priced.

Thanks, Peter! Very good to hear you’re getting your money’s worth. :-)

Can I play the DVD in my DVD/BluRay player connected to my TV? That would be great if I can!

Really found these videos useful. Information presented in a very clear straightforward way. The best Lightroom videos I have seen so far. Just purchased the Image Correction tutorials.

George February 7, 2015 at 10:07 AM

Hi Suzette!

If you’re just getting started, I would recommend our Library DVD. And please notice that for the month of February, we are bundling the Catalog Management DVD in with the Library DVD all for the price of just the Library DVD:

George, I bought the Development module and it has an unprecedented level as it comes to clarity and comprehensiveness. After watching the free tutorials of Lightroom 5 you convinced me to buy the Development tutorials. When you want to master Lightroom 5, this is what you are looking for. This is abosoluut value for money. Many thanks George.

George February 8, 2015 at 2:20 PM

Thanks, Luc! Really appreciate the comment.

I just finished the catalog managment series. I have the LR Library and Development series and review them when I am stumped. The Catalog Management series continues with George’s soothing voice turning mayhem into order. Keep up the good work. Thanks so much.

Ario May 9, 2015 at 9:28 PM

The video tutorials made by George, I have all of them, are the best I have ever bought about Lightroom. I really appreciate he explain “why”, not only “how” and all is done using clear and plain language easily understandable also for a non native english speaker.
